Two PTA women in the school cafe

People chatting in the school cafeOur vibrant, strong, and enthusiastic PTA is the spirit that bonds our community together, acting as a fundamental part of the communication between the class teachers and parents.

Our dedicated PTA volunteers work hard to organise a variety of social activities and events for parents to enjoy throughout the year. These include the annual Sponsored Run, Harvest Festival, the Winter Performance, World Book Week, and International Languages Day.

Critical to the life of the school, our PTA also provides support for a variety of student activities. These include helping in classrooms and in the library, as well as with our various field trips.

In addition to making a meaningful impact in the lives of our students, PTA volunteers also facilitate the creation of important relationships amongst parents that often last long beyond their years at the school. We are really proud of the strong links with the PTA and all of our parents, which helps create a wonderful community here at ISL Surrey. New families are welcomed warmly and quickly settle in as a result of the many opportunities there are to interact with other ISL Surrey families, should they wish to join in.

All of our parents also enjoy our on-site café called the Hideout - run by parents, for parents. It's a great place for busy Mums and Dads to catch up informally over coffee and cake and to hold any of the more formal PTA meetings.
